The 2023 NFL season was another drama-filled year for the Las Vegas Raiders, with the team coming out slow and eventually firing head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler, officially putting an end to the “Patriot Way” in Sin City.
Fortunately for the Raiders, the decision to part ways with McDaniels and Ziegler seems to be a move in the right direction, as Antonio Pierce took over as interim head coach and inspired the team and the players to finish the season strong.
Pierce did such a good job of inspiring the players and winning over the fanbase that he was able to earn the job as head coach moving forward shortly after the regular season came to an end.
The hiring of Pierce was universally applauded by the media and the players in Las Vegas, which might be a sign of a bright future ahead of the Raiders.
On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs went head-to-head in the AFC Championship Game, with Raiders star Maxx Crosby sitting at home thinking about his team playing in games with these kinds of stakes, as he took to Twitter to promise that it will happen.
“I can’t wait to play in these games. It will happen,” Crosby said.

With the Raiders being a talented football team on both sides of the ball, Las Vegas has a chance to make some noise in the AFC.
The No. 1 goal will be upgrading the quarterback position, whether by bringing in a top-tier rookie or making a big-name signing in free agency.
