The Chicago Bears are faced with a potentially franchise-altering decision in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.
With the No. 1 overall pick, the Bears are slated to take Caleb Williams, a player who has been highly touted for several years.
If Williams lives up to the hype, he will be more than worthy of a first-overall selection.
The Bears’ Williams pick might be relatively easy, but they’ll soon have to make a tough decision at No. 9.
Many analysts have suggested the Bears take a blue-chip wide receiver prospect in this spot, hoping to pair him with Williams in his rookie year.
Having two top-10 picks is a luxury, one that teams aren’t presented with often.
Mel Kiper Jr. recently appeared on Waddle and Silvy on ESPN radio, talking about what he thinks the Bears should do.
One of the analysts on this show indicated that the Bears should trade up to the No. 4 pick, hoping to strike it rich with Marvin Harrison Jr.
Kiper didn’t seem to agree with this analysis.
“I would much rather stay at nine and get a Rome Odunze, didn’t have to move up,” Kiper said.

By staying put, the Bears don’t need to get rid of any additional capital, and if Odunze is still there, it could be a massive situation for them moving forward.
Some people think Odunze is the best receiver in the class, even over Harrison, who has been highly touted for many years.
How will things ultimately shake out for a Bears team that is craving consistency and success down the line?
