The Dallas Cowboys’ 2023 season ended spectacularly this past week after the Green Bay Packers poured on the points and pulled off the win.
There have been plenty of questions about the Cowboys in the wake of that defeat, from concerns about head coach Mike McCarthy, quarterback Dak Prescott, and the defense as a whole.
Cowboys star edge rusher Micah Parsons isn’t having any of those discussions, though, and wrote on social media that he wants to squash the “narrative” around Dallas’ loss.
“Y’all gonna fit whatever narrative y’all want about Sunday,” Parsons wrote. “I’ll drop my faxfs (sic) soon! Delusion vs reality !”

The Cowboys were one of the best teams in the NFL right up until this game.
Between Prescott’s MVP-caliber season and the defense showings, Dallas went toe-to-toe with the best in the league – although they were worse away from home.
It’s unclear exactly what went wrong in the Packers’ game, but the defense gave up multiple early touchdown drives and Prescott through two first-half interceptions – one of which was returned for a touchdown.
There will likely be changes coming to the Cowboys one way or another, although McCarthy appears to have kept his job despite another early postseason exit.
Parsons will be a big question mark as well considering he will be up for a massive contract extension soon.
He’s always been one of the loudest off-field voices, but this one seems to have a bit more emotion behind it after the team’s shocking defeat at the hands of the Packers.
