Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons has never been one to shy away from sharing his thoughts on just about any subject, regardless of whether it gets a negative reaction or not.
So it isn’t surprising to find out that Parsons has caused a bit of controversy with some recent comments he had in a “Madden” video game competition during this year’s Pro Bowl Games.
Parsons teamed up with Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua to represent the NFC, and they took on Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who represented the AFC.
After the first two quarters of their “Madden” showdown, the NFC led by a score of 15-3.
During his time with the controller, Njoku wasn’t able to put any points up on the board for the AFC in the first half, so Parsons let him hear it by saying that the tight end showed why “Cleveland is Cleveland” (via Ryan Tyler on Twitter).

Unsurprisingly, Njoku quickly took objection to that comment and made sure to point out to the Cowboys pass rusher that they are both participating in this year’s Pro Bowl Games, which means neither of their teams made it to this season’s Super Bowl.
Parsons probably should have done a little more research before the matchup since the Browns and Cowboys have both won the same number of playoff games (one) since the 2020 season.
So, if this was his attempt to put down Njoku and Cleveland, he inadvertently took a shot at Dallas as well since both franchises have had the same amount of recent postseason success.
