One of the most competitive divisions in the NFL right now is the NFC South, with three teams battling it out for the division title to clinch a spot in the NFL playoffs.
As of right now, Derek Carr’s New Orleans Saints are sitting atop the division standings, with the team sitting at .500 with a record of 5-5, but the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t far behind.
Baker Mayfield and company were able to come out on top against rookie Will Levis and the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, with the team improving to 4-5 on the year, which puts them in second place with the Falcons.
However, the Falcons can take that second spot with a win against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, but for the time being, the Buccaneers did the job they were supposed to do.
Veteran star wide receiver Mike Evans talked about the team coming out on top against the Titans in Week 10 and how Tampa Bay was able to get their fourth win of the season via NFL on CBS.
“Defense came up big for us. Offense fought their butt off all night.”

Even though Evans gives a lot of credit to the team’s defense for having a solid performance on Sunday, he put in the work against the Titans, finishing with six catches for 143 yards and a touchdown.
It seems as though the race to the NFC South title is going to come down to the worse, but things won’t get any easier for Tampa Bay moving forward, as they will play the rejuvenated San Francisco 49ers next week on the road at Levi’s Stadium.
