The 2024 NFL Draft is finally in the books.
All teams made their moves, and just like what happens every single year, some did well, and others not so much.
Some franchises were aggressive and addressed most of their areas or needs, while others left the fans and analysts wondering what they were doing and the direction they were going in.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Mike Greenberg put together a list of his top-five takeaways from this year’s edition of the most important three nights in the offseason (via Get Up).

At No. 5, he talked about how the New York Giants didn’t address their need for a quarterback, and they didn’t improve their offensive line, either.
Then, he questioned how on Earth the Buffalo Bills allowed the Kansas City Chiefs to get another elite offensive weapon like Xavier Worthy.
At No. 3, he selected the Atlanta Falcons’ controversial decision to take QB Michael Penix Jr. as high as No. 8, especially considering the fact that they had just signed Kirk Cousins to a very lucrative four-year contract at the beginning of free agency.
The Philadelphia Eagles got the nod at No. 2, with Greenberg noting the fact that they somehow managed to get two of the top-ranked defensive backs in this class.
Unsurprisingly, the Chicago Bears’ excellent draft was the No. 1 takeaway, with Greenberg claiming that they finally got things right this time around with Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze in the first round and how they made the most of the few selections they had.
