The Super Bowl and the NFL season might be over, but that doesn’t mean teams are just resting on their laurels right now.
If anything, the next season starts now, and whatever they do — or don’t do — in the next couple of weeks could be crucial to decide their future.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Mike Greenberg shared the list of the five things he wants to see happening this offseason.
The top moves @Espngreeny wants to see this NFL offseason
1. Giants move up to draft Drake Maye
2. Raiders move up to draft QB
3. Justin Fields to Steelers
4. Stefon Diggs to Cowboys
5. Davante Adams to Jets pic.twitter.com/NeblqSo3i4— Get Up (@GetUpESPN) February 21, 2024
At No. 5, he talked about Davante Adams finding out that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side, which is why he would love to see him reunited with Aaron Rodgers.
Then, he talked about Stefon Diggs’ time with the Buffalo Bills being over, adding that he should look to team up with his brother with the Dallas Cowboys, and he’d be an elite complement to CeeDee Lamb.
At No. 3, Greenberg talked about the Pittsburgh Steelers potentially becoming a Super Bowl-contending team if Justin Fields plays under Mike Tomlin, adding that they would be a perfect fit to silence the critics together.
Then, he talked about how the Las Vegas Raiders should be very aggressive and trade up to land a future franchise quarterback, although he thinks they’re going to ‘settle’ for J.J. McCarthy or Bo Nix instead.
Last but not least, he thinks that Brian Daboll and Drake Maye would be a match made in heaven, so he expects the New York Giants to trade up to No. 3 with the New England Patriots to get the UNC product.
