The New England Patriots have officially moved on from Bill Belichick.
And just like in every breakup, it’s now time for the other party to pick up the pieces and get back out there.
Belichick has no shortage of candidates on his list, some being a better fit than others.
Nonetheless, ESPN analyst Mike Greenberg believes there would be no better place for him than Arlington right now.
Talking on “Get Up,” the pundit stated that Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys could give him the two things he could use the most at this moment, which is a roster ready to compete and a team with a legitimate chance to win a Super Bowl.

On paper, this makes sense, but things are never this simple.
Belichick calls his own shots and is his own man, and that’s not the way Jerry Jones does business.
Jones is one of the most successful businessmen out there, and he knows how much hiring Belichick could help his brand.
But he also has a bit of an ego, and he loves to make it loud and clear that he’s the one making all decisions.
On top of that, maybe Belichick isn’t looking for that kind of pressure, let alone all the media attention.
He’s just 15 wins way from breaking Don Shula’s record; he doesn’t have anything else to prove or win at this point.
Some believe his legacy has already taken a hit because of his lack of success without Tom Brady, so one can only imagine what could people say if he leads the Cowboys to another postseason meltdown.
