For the first time in what it feels like forever, the NFL and college football won’t have their two most dominant head coaches around next season.
Nick Saban finally walked away from the game after a legendary stint with the Alabama Crimson Tide, cementing himself as perhaps the greatest coach in college football history.
Bill Belichick, on the other hand, didn’t exactly get a glorious farewell, but also put an end to his tenure in charge of the New England Patriots.
And now that it seems like he won’t get another opportunity to be a coach, at least for now, Mike Greenberg had an interesting idea.
Talking on ESPN Radio, he and his co-host claimed that Saban and Belichick should team up to make a podcast, stating that everybody would want to listen to that.
“Get CAA on the phone!”

They also claimed that the podcast would need a host, adding that Greenberg would be just the right guy for the job.
Truth be told, it’s hard to envision these guys getting on board with that, especially Belichick.
They definitely have plenty of legendary stories to share from their unmatched careers, not to mention the fact that they must be two of the most knowledgeable football guys to ever walk the face of the Earth.
However, that just doesn’t go with their personalities.
Still, someone needs to reach out to them to get them to at least give it some consideration.
