The Dallas Cowboys are coming off one of the most impressive wins of the season, dominating the Los Angeles Rams from start to finish.
At times, Mike McCarthy’s team has looked like a true juggernaut capable of dealing with every rival in the league.
At other times, however, they have struggled to keep up with actual contenders, which is why some fans have urged Jerry Jones to pick up the phone and get some deals done.
With that in mind, McCarthy addressed the media to let them know that he’s not the guy to ask about potential trades (via Jon Machota).

The former Super Bowl champion stated that he’s not crossing his fingers and hoping the team gets any player, as he’s all about developing and maximizing the talent he has in the locker room right now.
McCarthy doubled down on his statement by saying that he fully believes in all the players he has under his command.
Truth be told, aside from some defensive regression, the Cowboys have fared well at most positions this season.
Of course, there continue to be questions about Dak Prescott and whether he’s able to lead the Cowboys when they’re trailing and not just be a game manager.
However, that’s likely not something they are going to address at this point in the season.
Whether they make moves at the deadline or not, the Cowboys have enough talent in their ranks to make a deep postseason run.
