Since head coach Mike McDaniel took over for the Miami Dolphins, they’ve had one of the most electric and intricate offenses in the NFL.
McDaniel learned under some of the best offensive minds in the league and brought that knowledge and expertise to Miami where he’s made good use of the talent and weapons at his disposal.
The Dolphins were one of the most fun teams to watch during the 2023 NFL season, but they struggled to beat top-tier competition.
Injuries decimated their defense, and that wound up being what doomed them as they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs.
After a disappointing season, McDaniel made a bold proclamation to the fans, via King of Phinland on Twitter.
“I promise you the team in that stadium next year and every year after that will be chasing that championship mindset and bringing that to the fanbase that truly deserves it,” McDaniel said.

McDaniel doesn’t seem to lack for any confidence and he has every reason to feel good as his team is built to win now.
Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle make for one of the best one-two punches at the wide receiver position, while Tua Tagovailoa has shown he can throw with the best of them when given time in the pocket.
Defensively, Miami could use an infusion of talent but has star players at all three levels that should bounce back in 2024.
All in all, the Dolphins have all the ingredients necessary to make a postseason run and it’ll up to them and McDaniel to execute.
