The MLB offseason is a time when most teams open up their wallets and spend a ton of money.
Unlike other sports, some of the best players in the league find themselves in free agency.
That means teams are willing to spend as much money as necessary to land the top players available.
Well, so far this offseason, it has been all about the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Dodgers have far and away spent the most money.
They are showing everyone they want to compete for a World Series again.
According to Chris Clegg, the Dodgers have spent $1.23 billion this offseason.
No other team has spent more than $172 million.

The Dodgers are signing all of the top players available.
At some point, the other teams are going to have to make some moves.
There are still plenty of great players available, including the reigning NL Cy Young winner Blake Snell.
We should not be surprised if the Dodgers continue to add to their roster.
With a lot of their contracts having deferred money, the Dodgers have a manageable payroll this season.
Over a full 162-game season, anything can happen and more often than not the best roster does not win.
Last season, two Wild Card teams made the World Series.
It will be interesting to see if the Dodgers continue to add to their payroll.
The Dodgers are all-in on winning a World Series next year.
Now we have to see what other teams around the league will do to match them.
