It’s been almost 40 years since the Chicago Bears last won the Super Bowl.
Needless to say, this franchise has gone through a lot during that time, and it would take a lot for the fans to believe in this team again.
However, sometimes, you just need a special talent to shift the odds back in your favor.
Notably, that may have been the case with Caleb Williams.
As pointed out by ESPN BET on Twitter, the Bears have significantly higher odds to win the Super Bowl this season if compared to last year, going from +6000 all the way to +2500.

Granted, they’re still considered a long shot, but there’s clearly a more optimistic sentiment about this organization.
Williams has the potential to be a generational star, and while it might take him a while to get his legs under him, he could also make an immediate impact like CJ Stroud made with the Houston Texans last season.
Of course, he’s not alone.
The Bears also added the likes of Rome Odunze, D’Andre Swift, and Keenan Allen.
Also, their defense surged late last season, and having DJ Moore and Cole Kmet out there also gives them a well-rounded team.
It won’t be easy for the Bears to stand out from the rest of the pack, as the NFC North as a whole could be quite competitive.
However, for the first time in quite a long time, there’s finally hope in the Windy City.
