The NFL world is descending upon Indianapolis soon for the annual draft combine in order to get a close look at this year’s incoming draft class.
However, there will be a few head coaches that won’t be there this year, including Sean McVay of the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers’ Kyle Shanahan.
On the other hand, the New Orleans Saints will have their entire coaching staff in Indianapolis, along with their entire scouting staff, analytics director, IT crew, and general manager, per Jeff Duncan.
The Saints are sending a large contingent from their football operation to Indy for the NFL Scouting Combine this week. The group includes head coach Dennis Allen, GM Mickey Loomis, their entire coaching & scouting staff, along with their analytics director and IT crew.

Going into the 2023 season, the Saints were picked by many to finish first in the NFC South, but they went 9-8 and narrowly missed out on the division title.
They will have the No. 14 pick in April’s draft, and while they may have their quarterback for at least the immediate future in Derek Carr, they have several needs.
Experts have pegged New Orleans’ offensive line as something that needs improvement, and the team also could use upgrades on defense, as well as another threat at wide receiver.
They have a young and promising wideout in Chris Olave, but Michael Thomas, who led the NFL in receiving yards in 2019, is a question mark, as they need to make a decision on him soon.
He has been riddled with injuries ever since his remarkable 2019 campaign.
Meanwhile, while the Saints ranked eighth in points allowed, they need to be able to get more pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
