The NFC South continues to be the weakest division in the National Football League.
Nonetheless, despite all that, the race for the top of the NFC South has been quite entertaining to watch this season, all things considered.
With that in mind, former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson believes the New Orleans Saints should still be considered as the team to beat, even despite their recent struggles.
In the latest edition of “Undisputed,” Johnson stated that even though the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are playing better right now, both teams still control their own destiny because they have to face each other.

Also, the Bucs will have to face the Jacksonville Jaguars next, and they’re desperate for a win because they still need to secure their division, not to mention the fact that they’ll be extra motivated after a tough loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
The Saints and Bucs will square off two weeks from now to determine the division winner, and Johnson believes the Saints have the better team and will likely be healthier by that time.
On paper, the Saints should have an edge over the Buccaneers in almost every aspect.
Nonetheless, Baker Mayfield is actually playing very well, proving that he’s far from done and showing a big chip on his shoulder.
Derek Carr, on the other hand, has been gutting his way out on the field by playing through injury, but his first year in the Big Easy has left a lot to be desired, so this feels pretty much like a toss-up at this point.
