There has been a lot of talk about the Kansas City Chiefs this season, and not for the best reasons.
Andy Reid’s squad has been up and down — but mostly down — offensively, and frustration has been more than evident among their leaders.
That’s why, after watching Travis Kelce throwing his helmet on the sidelines during their loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, legendary WR Michael Irvin isn’t sure about their ability to dig themselves out of this hole.
Talking on “Undisputed,” the Dallas Cowboys legend believes the Chiefs are in actual trouble because they’re not worrying about other teams as much as they’re worrying about themselves.

They know they haven’t been good enough, they know they have had offensive miscues, penalties, and countless drops, and they’re starting to second guess whether they can actually get the job done, and there’s simply no turning point once you’ve reached that point.
The Chiefs used to have a superteam aura.
Even when they were down by double digits, they gave that feeling of an unbeatable team that would never be fazed or overwhelmed by the pressure.
That’s not the case anymore, and while a lot of that obviously has to do with their current personnel and their talent — or lack thereof — even their stars have looked overwhelmed at times.
Of course, you never want to meet these guys in the playoffs, and the postseason is an entirely different thing, but the regular season has been far from encouraging for the reigning Super Bowl champions.
