The running back position is arguably the most dynamic position in the NFL outside of quarterback.
That position allows certain players to do so many unique things, including rushing, receiving, and pass-blocking.
Of course, there is a reason why the position is called running back.
Those players at the position are known for taking the game over on the ground.
One of the best players at that position is All-Pro 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey.
The four-time All-Pro is not only one of the best running backs, but he is also one of the best overall players in the league.
After all, he led the league in rushing last season (1,459 yards).
The NFL’s social media account on Twitter just recently posed the question of whether or not the former Panther can lead the league in rushing again.

The question was posed with a picture of McCaffrey, new Ravens running back Derrick Henry, and new Eagles running back Saquon Barkley.
Henry led the league in rushing in back-to-back years in 2019 and 2020.
Barkley has three career 1,000-yard seasons and is coming off a much-improved season in New York with the Giants.
But with McCaffrey’s abilities and the offense that he plays on in the Bay Area, it might be hard to go against him.
The former Stanford star has four 1,000-yard seasons in seven years and is in the prime of his career.
With possibly the best offensive line in football, look for him to have another big season while trying to catch his first Super Bowl.
