After the Dallas Cowboys flamed out in the NFL playoffs in epic fashion by losing to the Green Bay Packers in the first round, the consensus around the league was that America’s Team would be making some drastic changes, starting with the coaching staff and potentially the quarterback position.
However, longtime team owner Jerry Jones had other plans, as he wants to sign star quarterback Dak Prescott to a lucrative long-term extension, potentially resetting the quarterback market, and gave head coach Mike McCarthy a vote of confidence letting it be known he’ll be back to coach the team next season.
As if this wasn’t troubling enough for Cowboys fans who are demanding playoff results, the team has done virtually nothing during the NFL offseason to improve its squad, which has left many people wondering what is going on in Dallas.
Although the team has failed to make a splash during the offseason thus far, the team does have an opportunity to improve through the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, and it appears they could be looking at linebacker Junior Colson out of the University of Michigan, who visited the team this week, via Brandon Loree.

Although Colson is a talented player and would make the Cowboys that much deeper on defense, this is also probably not what Cowboys fans want to see, with the team already having arguably the best linebacker in the game with Micah Parsons.
However, it is just a visit with the team, which happens all the time during this time of year, so there’s no telling what direction the Cowboys might go in the draft come April 25.
