Following three consecutive 7-10 seasons, the Atlanta Falcons finally decided to part ways with Arthur Smith.
Now, the team is leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of a replacement.
This time, however, they may want a top-of-the-line name to lead the way for them.
With that in mind, NFL insider Jaime Eisner shared the odds at Bet Online of who is likely to be their next decision-maker.
Bill Belichick is currently the odds-on favorite to take the reins of the team, followed by Eric Bieniemy.
Bill Belichick is the current betting favorite to be the Falcons’ next HC:
Bill Belichick (+100)
Eric Bieniemy (+275)
Kellen Moore (+750)
Mike Vrabel (10/1)
Jim Harbaugh (10/1)
Bobby Slowik (10/1)
Ben Johnson (13/1)
Raheem Morris (18/1)
Dan Quinn (20/1)
Brian Callahan (20/1)… https://t.co/4Ikf5mhGcz— Jaime Eisner (@JaimeEisner) January 16, 2024
Then, Kellen Moore, Mike Vrabel, Jim Harbaugh, Bobby Slowik, Ben Johnson, Raheem Morris, Dan Quinn, Brian Callahan, and Mike Macdonald round out the list, although they seem to be more of a long shot.
The Falcons interviewed Belichick on Monday.
He agreed to part ways with the New England Patriots after 24 years on the job, and he’s made it loud and clear that he has no intention whatsoever of walking away from the game right now.
The legendary coach isn’t far behind Don Shula on the league’s all-time wins list.
The Falcons have some interesting pieces in place, but they need to take care of their quarterback situation, and that’s the biggest thing holding them back right now, regardless of who is calling the shots from the sidelines.
