The Cleveland Browns have gone through everything this season.
Losing Nick Chubb just a handful of games into the campaign and then having Deshaun Watson on and off the field didn’t do a lot to help their cause early in the season.
However, despite losing Watson for the year and dealing with a plethora of injuries on both sides of the field, the Browns are still 10-5 and could clinch a postseason berth with a win on Thursday over the New York Jets.
That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see that Kevin Stefanski is currently leading the odds to win the league’s Coach of the Year this season (+150) (via FanDuel Sportsbook).

Stefanski entered the season on the hot seat, as the team hadn’t made the playoffs in back-to-back seasons, and they had made some big investments and moves in the offseason to make sure they had every single thing they could possibly need to get the job done this time.
Not only has he been up to the task, but he’s also exceeded all expectations by coaching four different quarterbacks to at least one win this season.
Of course, Jim Schwartz also deserves a lot of credit and recognition for the outstanding job he’s done as a defensive coordinator.
But Stefanski should get plenty of flowers, especially considering how much criticism he endured throughout the years.
He’s earned his stripes in the organization, not to mention the right to stay in charge of the team for at least another season.
