The Detroit Lions are coming off arguably the greatest season in franchise history.
They were one half away from reaching the Super Bowl for the first time ever, and they figure to be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
Even so, they need to continue adding pieces and firepower to their improved defense.
With that in mind, they’re going to host Ohio State defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. for a visit, according to a report by Aaron Wilson of KPRC2.

The Lions will also host CBs Caelen Carson and Nehemiah Pritchett for the visit.
Hall is a promising prospect, and he also visited the Green Bay Packers.
He recorded 24 total tackles, two tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and 29 pressures in the previous campaign.
Overall, he logged ten tackles for loss and six sacks during his stint as a Buckeye.
He’s expected to be available in the second round of the NFL Draft, and it’s no wonder why multiple teams have expressed their interest in his services, given his ability to disrupt the opposing team’s passing game and his impressive physical traits.
The Lions were significantly better on defense last season, and they kept adding depth to that side of the field by trading for CB Carlton Davis and signing CB Amik Robertson and DT D.J. Reader.
The team also hosted CBs Terrion Arnold, Ennis Rakestraw Jr., and Kool-Aid McKinstry, among others, so that’s clearly a point of emphasis for GM Brad Holmes ahead of a potential make-or-break season for Dan Campbell’s team.
