The Baltimore Orioles were all smiles a few days ago, when they acquired ace Corbin Burnes to lead their young and talented rotation.
They just won 101 games and added a former NL Cy Young award winner, so yes, Baltimore fans were incredible excited.
Upon the opening of spring training camp, however, fans got some really disappointing news regarding one of their best starters: Kyle Bradish.
“Kyle Bradish will start the season on the injured list with a sprained UCL, per @d_allentuck,” FOX Sports: MLB tweeted.

The fact that Bradish has already been ruled out for the start of the season is very worrisome.
It means his elbow needs time to heal, and potentially surgery.
It is known that UCL sprains can often result in a torn UCL and, subsequently, Tommy John surgery.
If that’s the case, you can go ahead and add about a year-and-a-half to Bradish’s return timeline.
That’s why they are doing everything they can to avoid that scenario.
Bradish is an extremely important part of the Orioles rotation.
Last year, he was brilliant, with a 2.83 ERA and 168 strikeouts in 168.2 innings.
He went 12-7 in the regular season and held the Texas Rangers at bay during his AL Division Series start.
If the O’s learn that Bradish can end up losing the entire season, they have the resources to go after a good replacement via free agency or trade.
Whether they do it or not remains to be seen.
