His brief stint against the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier in the week yielded just seven minutes of game time, further underscoring the challenge he faces in earning consistent opportunities.
G League Experience and Impact
Council’s time with the Delaware Blue Coats isn’t new. In an earlier assignment a few months ago, he delivered an impressive performance by scoring 29 points in 37 minutes, along with eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block. Last season, during 11 games in the G League, he averaged 23 points, five rebounds, and two assists in 32 minutes per game while shooting 35 percent from three-point range. These numbers highlight his potential when afforded a larger role on the floor.

Given his promising performances in the G League and the limited chances he has had with the 76ers, there is anticipation around how long his assignment will last.
