Known for their need for wide receiver reinforcements, the Chiefs have been exploring options to bolster their offensive arsenal for over a year.
Davenport points out that the potential deal would not come cheap for the Chiefs, possibly involving their 31st overall pick and a new contract for Metcalf. However, the addition of Metcalf to the Chiefs’ lineup, alongside Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy, could create a formidable passing attack that would keep opposing defenses on their toes.

Since the departure of Tyreek Hill in the 2022 offseason, the Chiefs have been without an elite receiver to complement quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
