The Green Bay Packers were a huge question mark entering this season.
Of course, most people expected some major regression without Aaron Rodgers, and while the reviews about Jordan Love were quite positive, some skepticism was more than warranted.
They got off to a somewhat impressive start to the season before hitting a bit of a brick wall, taking their record to 2-5.
They’ve now won three of their past four games and have the playoffs back in sight.
With that in mind, former NFL star Jason McCourty asked Packers RB A.J. Dillon about this turnaround.
In the latest edition of Good Morning Football, Dillon stated that it reached a point where the team took a deep look in the mirror and realized that they weren’t playing up to their level, so they all rallied together for their common goal of playing in the Super Bowl.

Perhaps reaching the big game is a bit of a reach, but this Packers team has shown plenty of fight as of late, especially considering how undermanned they’ve been.
Jordan Love has shown glimpses of great play, making some Rodgerish throws with crazy arm angles and whatnot, and he’s developed strong chemistry with second-year wideout Christian Watson.
The Detroit Lions have been up and down and have struggled to take over the division.
So, even though it seemed impossible after the first month of the season, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Matt LaFleur’s team taking the NFC North by storm again and winning another divisional banner.
