If the Green Bay Packers had any questions about Jordan Love’s ability to lead this team heading into the 2023 season, his performance answered them all.
Love had a few rough games to start the year, but when he brought them to the playoffs, and when the team was within a few plays of making it to the NFC Championship, they knew they had something special on their hands.
They signed him to a four-year, $220 million contract in the offseason, putting him in a tie for the highest-paid player in league history.
Love is the Packers’ future, and it’s not just the front office and the coaching staff who believe it.
Jaire Alexander recently sat down with a crew from the NFL Network, where he said, “I said he was the best QB last year, and his pay shows that he’s the best QB again.”

Alexander is known as one of the best cornerbacks in the league, and he has to face off against Love every day in practice.
Sure, Alexander might be biased towards Love since they are teammates, but the team’s new quarterback seems to be proving himself more every day.
If Love keeps up the pace he set last year, the Packers should be in great shape for the next several years.
Having a solid quarterback under center is paramount for long-term success in the NFL, as the Packers found out with their last two primary quarterbacks, Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre.
Can Love be their third-straight franchise QB?
