After pulling out all the stops to upgrade the roster over the NFL offseason while also securing the quarterback position with rookie Bryce Young out of Alabama, the Carolina Panthers have been a massive disappointment this season, with the team now sporting a record of 1-10 after losing to the Tennessee Titans in Week 12.
Even though it’s difficult to have high expectations for a team with a rookie quarterback under center, it probably doesn’t help that C.J. Stroud has had so much success with the Houston Texans and that Will Levis just beat them on Sunday.
It’s safe to say that Young has been the most disappointing rookie quarterback of the four that got the most hype coming out of the 2023 NFL Draft, with Levis, Stroud, and Anthony Richardson all looking like better prospects at this point.
Obviously, that can quickly change if Young starts to figure things out in Carolina, but there might need to be some drastic changes in order for that to happen.
Team owner David Tepper, who is certainly not happy with the outcome so far this season, let his frustrations be known in the locker room on Sunday, according to Joe Person of The Athletic.
Leaving the locker room, David Tepper shook his head and yelled, “F—-!”

Even if this was expected to be a rough season in Carolina, which it was, it seems that Tepper is losing his patience rather quickly, which could prove costly to head coach Frank Reich’s immediate future.
Reich has been on the hot seat for the last few weeks, and the team losing to Levis and the Titans on Sunday might have been the final straw.
