The Baltimore Ravens have officially put the world on notice.
They had been slightly overlooked for most of the season, but that’s no longer the case.
The same can be said of Lamar Jackson, who’s now the odds-on favorite to run away with the MVP award, no pun intended.
That’s why former NFL player Pat McAfee believes this will finally be the year Lamar and the Ravens make a Super Bowl run.
Talking on ESPN’s “First Take,” McAfee stated that the Ravens are just too loaded on both sides of the field.

He talked about the fact that even Nelson Agholor is doing his part, lauding Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers, and even Isaiah Likely for stepping up to replace Mark Andrews, not to mention Gus Edwards and his 12 rushing touchdowns.
He also believes the defense is stacked with Patrick Queen, Roquan Smith, and Kyle Hamilton, and he thinks they’re just going to keep getting better every week.
McAfee added that this is the same Lamar Jackson we’ve always seen; it’s just that he’s been more mature about the way he’s handled himself on the field.
Jackson has made great strides as a pocket passer, but you also need to give his offensive line plenty of credit for all the time they’re giving him to do his thing.
We already knew he was the best scrambler in the NFL, and with the way he’s playing right now, it’s hard to envision anybody else taking the MVP award away from him.
