The Kansas City Chiefs are the team to beat not only in the NFL but also in all sports right now.
They’re winners of two Super Bowls in a row and have a legitimate chance to become the first team to three-peat in NFL history.
Winning one is tough, winning two is almost impossible, and no one has been able to win three consecutive.
Even so, most people agree they could pull it off because they have Patrick Mahomes on their team.
That’s why the reigning Super Bowl MVP was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people, even making the cover of the latest edition (via NFL).

Mahomes has raised the standard for what it’s like to be a successful quarterback in today’s game, and some believe he’s the only player with a legitimate opportunity to beat Tom Brady for the GOAT distinction once his playing days are over.
He’s already put together a Hall of Famer-kind of résumé before turning 29 years of age, winning three Super Bowls and reaching the AFC Championship Game in every single season he’s been a starter.
The Chiefs looked beatable last season, and they boasted their worst offense of the Andy Reid-Patrick Mahomes era.
Even so, Steve Spagnuolo’s championship-level defense, and Mahomes’ unmatched playoff chemistry with Travis Kelce took them back to the promised land.
Everybody will be aiming for them in 2024, just like they do with every single dynasty.
Whether they’ll be able to stop Mahomes or even contain him remains to be seen.
