Sunday’s playoff matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys is a contest between old rivals and one that will likely be the most-watched postseason game of the weekend.
These two historic franchises will be facing off in the playoffs for the ninth time, with their last postseason meeting coming back in 2017 when the Packers edged the Cowboys by a final score of 34-31.
Predictions for Sunday’s showdown are coming from all over, including from some former NBA superstars.
Former NBA player Paul Pierce recently shared his pick for Sunday’s game between Green Bay and Dallas and chose the Packers to win (via All the Smoke Productions on Twitter).
“I got the Packers,” Pierce said.

While Pierce is going with the Packers, Garnett believes it will be the Cowboys who will walk off of the field on Sunday with a victory.
Despite being the lower seed and the underdog in the matchup, Green Bay should still feel confident about their chances to win, as they haven’t lost a game to Dallas since 2016.
Of course, this season’s version of the Packers is much different than the teams that have faced the Cowboys in the last few seasons.
Dallas will no longer have to worry about quarterback Aaron Rodgers working his magic under center for Green Bay, as Jordan Love is now the starting quarterback for the Packers.
Love isn’t playing at an MVP level like Rodgers did during his final seasons with Green Bay, but he’s shown some flashes during the 2023 campaign that should make the Packers feel confident about pulling off the upset over Dallas on Sunday.
