Peyton Manning had quite the NFL career as he managed to win a Super Bowl championship with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos.
Widely regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in league history, Manning became a legend on the field and was a no-brainer for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
However, Manning also made a successful leap into broadcast and media where he and his brother Eli Manning have become well-known for their Monday Night Football simulcast called the “ManningCast.”
A popular figure both on and off the field, Manning has done well at every stop and is considered one of the most beloved figures in football.
His popularity with fans has been fun to watch and now he’s parlayed that success into another job as he is set to be part of the group on NBC that will host the 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony, via Front Office Sports.
“Peyton Manning and Kelly Clarkson are joining Mike Tirico to host the 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony,” Front Office Sports Today tweeted.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will take place in Paris, France and will feature a unique change for the opening night.
In Paris, instead of a stadium, all the athletes will be on boats that will float down the Seine river in front of thousands of spectators.
Manning, Clarkson, and Tirico make for a well-rounded trio as Manning can help provide some insight into the athlete mindset while Clarkson can give more of a fan’s perspective of the proceedings.
It should be a fun broadcast and another challenge for Manning, but if his previous work is any indication then he’ll be just fine in his new role.
