The New York Giants’ offseason has been as miserable for fans as the team’s 2023 regular season.
After losing running back Saquon Barkley to rival Philadelphia, the Giants have signed a handful of offensive players to help retool an offense that does not yet have an identity or star player.
Pro Football Focus posted to Twitter the three most important positions New York should address after finishing their initial round of free-agent signings, including two positions the team tried to address during free agency.

According to PFF, wide receiver, tight end, and safety are the Giants’ biggest needs now.
New York signed two tight ends this offseason: Jack Stoll and Chris Manhertz.
Stoll played the past three seasons in Philadelphia, recording 20 receptions for 183 yards in 50 total games.
Manhertz is an eight-year pro, playing in 117 NFL games.
Additionally, New York re-signed wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins to their team.
Hodgins will begin his fourth year in the NFL in 2024, playing the past two seasons with the Giants.
In New York, Hodgins has caught 54 passes for 581 yards and seven touchdowns.
The Giants have not signed any safeties during the free agency period, leaving the team void of any proven players to help their defensive unit.
While running back was not mentioned by PFF in their post, the team is without its highest-profile skill-position player now that Barkley bolted for the Eagles.
