The Philadelphia Phillies continue to defy the odds in the MLB playoffs.
For the second straight year, they pulled off a major upset over the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS.
One of the reasons for the Phillies’ postseason dominance is their ability to win at home.
The atmosphere at Citizens Bank Park is one of the best in sports.
It is clear the Phillies feed off their fans and take their game to a new level.
According to Sarah Langs, the Phillies have out-homered their opponents by 32 at CBP in the postseason.
That is the best home-run differential in the postseason for any team in any park.

What makes it more impressive is the Phillies just finished facing the best home-run-hitting team of all time.
The Braves had 307 home runs in the regular season, which tied the 2019 Minnesota Twins for the most in baseball history.
The Phillies out-homered the Braves, 9-1, in Games 3 and 4 at Citizens Bank Park.
Sometimes the big games in October can be too much for certain teams.
No one cares about how many games the Braves won in the regular season.
They have been unable to perform in the playoffs in back-to-back seasons.
Now, the Phillies get to host the NLCS as they take on the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Having home-field advantage is massive for the Phillies as they hope to get off to a fast start in the series.
It will be interesting to see if they can keep mashing the ball at home.
That is what it will take to knock off a hot D-Backs team.
