The vibes are high around the Philadelphia Phillies entering the 2024 season.
Even after a heartbreaking loss to end their 2023 campaign, the team is still confident entering this year.
One of the reasons for their consistent success is they have a strong clubhouse.
They have a bunch of players who bring energy to the team and love being around each other.
One of those high-energy players is backup catcher Garrett Stubbs.
He may not play often, but he is a vital part of the clubhouse.
According to Action Network, Stubbs recounted a story about a casino experience with teammate Kyle Schwarber.
Stubbs talked about hitting big at the roulette table.
“Boys are walking home winners. It was elite!”

The Phillies’ primary color is red so it makes too much sense they hit big on a red number.
It is moments like this that help build camaraderie amongst teammates.
Schwarber and Stubbs have two of the biggest personalities on the Phillies.
Their presence on this team is far more than what they bring to the field.
Even though the Phillies have not won the NL East since 2011, they have been great in the playoffs of late.
Two years ago they lost in the World Series, and last year they lost in the NLCS.
We should not be surprised if the Phillies have another successful season.
They brought back almost the same roster from last season and added a few smaller pieces.
We have no reason to doubt the Phillies after what we have seen from them in the last two postseasons.
