The Cincinnati Bengals are expected to be one of the strongest teams in the AFC North next season.
That has everything to do with Joe Burrow getting back to full strength.
He’s one of the best quarterbacks in the game, and having him behind center changes everything for Zac Taylor’s team.
That’s why it’s also important that he relaxes before the start of the season.
That’s exactly what he’s doing right now: enjoying his vacation and exercising his brain with a nice game of chess (Via MLFootball).

Burrow is a cerebral player with a great ability to process information quickly, making him great at making adjustments at the line of scrimmage and picking apart defenses in real-time.
Needless to say, playing chess will help him enhance those god-given traits, as he’ll have to anticipate his opposition’s every move before making a move of his own.
Also, it’s nice to see that he’s keeping his body out of harm’s way, as he’s drawn a reputation for being kind of injury-prone, missing a big chunk of two of the seasons he’s played since he entered the league.
The Bengals couldn’t make the playoffs without their star quarterback on the field last season, but they should be considered a legitimate Super Bowl contender with him back in the mix.
So, for now, he should continue to focus on board games while he gets back to full strength from that season-ending wrist injury he suffered last season.
