The Miami Dolphins continued to show they’re the class of the AFC East as they shut out the New York Jets 30-0 in Week 15 to improve to 10-4 during the 2023 NFL season.
The Dolphins were without Tyreek Hill who is dealing with a sprained ankle, but the offense didn’t look any worse for wear as Tua Tagovailoa and company were able to get the job done without much trouble.
Jaylen Waddle stepped into the No. 1 receiver role and had his best game of the season as he recorded eight receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown.
Tagovailoa didn’t have to do too much through the air, though he did complete an impressive 21 of his 24 passing attempts for 224 yards and the lone passing touchdown to Waddle.
The running game didn’t have its most efficient outing, though Raheem Mostert continued to find himself in the end zone as he recorded two more rushing touchdowns.
The two scores brought Mostert’s total on the season to 20 touchdowns from scrimmage, setting a franchise record in the process via NFL GameDay.
Mostert has recorded 20 scrimmage touchdowns so far, surpassing Mark Clayton and Ricky Wiliams for the most in Dolphins history.

It’s quite the run from the veteran as he has dealt with several injuries over the years that have cut his campaigns short.
However, Mostert looks completely healthy and is showing what he can do when he’s available and given opportunities.
Although Mostert only recorded 42 rushing yards against New York, he was able to convert on his red zone carries and that bodes well for the rest of the season.
