The Las Vegas Raiders have made a few big splashes this offseason by acquiring defensive tackle Christian Wilkins and quarterback Gardner Minshew in free agency, but now the team is putting the finishing touches on rounding out the roster following the NFL Draft.
One veteran wide receiver has now made his deal official and will be suiting up in black and silver this fall to catch passes from Minshew and sophomore QB Aidan O’Connell.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter has announced that the Raiders have officially signed former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup to a 1-year, $3 million deal.

Gallup will immediately slot in as the likely No. 3 receiver behind Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers to form a formidable trio atop the depth chart.
With Michael Mayer and new first-round pick Brock Bowers at tight end, this team suddenly has an array of weapons to work with.
Gallup will step in for Hunter Renfrow, who is still a free agent after falling out of the rotation over the past couple of seasons in Vegas following the Adams trade.
Gallup can relate, as he hasn’t put up more than 500 yards in each of the past three seasons and will be looking to get back to the production he had in 2019 and 2020 when he had a combined 1,900 yards and 11 touchdowns as one of the league’s more exciting young receivers.
It will be interesting to see how he gets incorporated into this offense and how many targets he sees with so many mouths to feed.
