The Las Vegas Raiders have struggled a lot this season, and it seems like every time they’re right on track, they regress.
Their offense was awful in their last outing, with rookie QB Aidan O’Connell failing to put up a single point on the scoreboard.
With that in mind, interim coach Antonio Pierce reportedly could make another QB change ahead of their Thursday Night Football divisional clash with the Los Angeles Chargers.

According to Dov Kleiman, Brian Hoyer could be in line to start the game.
Hoyer has already played this season, replacing the injured Jimmy Garoppolo.
Garoppolo isn’t likely to play at all, as the team needs him to avoid injury so they can get off the hook if they decide to cut him.
O’Connell got off to a promising start to his career, impressing in the preseason and looking like a much better option than Garoppolo when he was called upon to start, but that hasn’t been the case as of late.
Even so, perhaps the Raiders would be better off just taking a look at what they have with him instead of turning back to a veteran who’s not going to be the answer to their woes.
Then again, perhaps they’re playing chess, not checkers, and all they want is to lose out so they can improve their chances of getting a top pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, especially considering how many talented quarterbacks are going to be eligible.
Whatever the case, Justin Herbert’s injury had already made this a tough game to watch.
