The Las Vegas Raiders’ season has been something of a whirlwind.
After a slow start under Josh McDaniels’ leadership, the team fired him, leaving Antonio Pierce in their interim role.
Something seemed to click with Pierce at the helm for a team that appeared frustrated with McDaniels.
The team responded with two wins in a row, showing signs of life for the first time in a few weeks.
While all hope might have seemed lost for the Raiders, they are trying to turn things around.
According to Pro Football Talk, Hunter Renfrow, one of the team’s wide receivers, recently spoke to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN, indicating that the Raiders still have a chance to make the playoffs.

As Renfrow mentioned, if the Raiders rattled off five straight wins, they would be in a prime position for a playoff berth.
The Raiders hold a 5-7 record and are in third place in the AFC West.
To win their next five games would end their season with a 10-7 record, which would likely be enough to sneak into the playoffs.
With this in mind, how likely is the possibility that this team wins out?
For starters, Aidan O’Connell is under center and has struggled lately.
If they want to succeed, the rookie QB must make marked strides.
Plus, the Raiders’ potential road to success is a difficult one.
They have a few tough matchups remaining on their schedule, including games against the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos, which are ahead of them in the playoff hunt.
