If the Arizona Diamondbacks are known for “embracing the chaos,” the Texas Rangers want to just go and take it.
That’s their dream, that’s the reason they have played 174 games to this point this year: to have a chance to win the World Series.
The Rangers are going to face the D-Backs for the right to be called champions in a best-of-seven matchup.
To get to this point, however, Texas had to sweat to eliminate the reigning World Series champs: the Houston Astros.
As a way to hype their fans ahead of Game 1 of the Fall Classic to be played on Friday, the Rangers posted a cool video showing some of the highlights of their series against the Astros.
“First Texas, Now the World” is the message they posted with the video.

In the short clip, we can see virtually all Adolis Garcia’s home runs in the series, Leody Taveras’ incredible catch in center, the Rangers pitching staff dominating Yordan Alvarez in a tough spot, Corey Seager and Mitch Garver going yard, and the last out of the series, among other plays.
Even though the Rangers couldn’t win any of their three games at Globe Life Field in the Championship Series, they hope fans rally behind the team and fill every seat in Games 1 and 2.
The time for the Rangers to show they belong in the elite is now.
With four more wins, they could become World Series champions for the first time in franchise history.
That’s no small achievement, but they will have a perfectly competent, young, and hungry team in front of them.
