The injury bug continues to linger for the Baltimore Ravens.
Seven starters missed their Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Unfortunately, five more Ravens players got hurt in that defeat.
Linebackers Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo are just two players likely sidelined in Week 4 when the Ravens clash with their division rivals, the Cleveland Browns.
With their linebacker rotation getting thinner, the Ravens got some help by signing veteran defensive player Kyle Van Noy.
CBS Sports NFL insider Josina Anderson tweeted, “I’m told the #Ravens are signing LB Kyle Van Noy. He is expected to go to the practice squad first, per source.”
She added, “Kyle Van Noy has officially signed with Baltimore. It was known prior to him landing that that was the plan & intention.”

Van Noy brings some help to a defensive unit that is struggling for players.
He also has championship experience, winning two Super Bowls with the New England Patriots.
Last season, the BYU product helped a struggling Los Angeles Chargers defensive unit turn things around.
That transformation helped the Chargers clinch their first playoff appearance since 2018.
Van Noy also transformed from linebacker to defensive end after Joey Bosa was placed on injured reserve.
Before joining the Chargers, Kyle Van Noy also played for the Miami Dolphins.
He also spent two seasons with the Detroit Lions.
He has 33.5 sacks, 47 tackles for losses, ten forced fumbles, and nine fumble recoveries in his career.
Van Noy’s intelligence and versatility will be helpful for the depleted Ravens’ defense.
