The Baltimore Ravens have looked like one of the best teams in football this year.
With a record of 7-2, the Ravens are clear Super Bowl contenders.
Tight end Mark Andrews is one player who plays a significant role in their offense each week.
He is one of the best tight ends in football and has become a go-to target for quarterback Lamar Jackson.
While on the field, Andrews is one of the best.
Off the field, however, he is dealing with things that most players do not understand.
Andrews has Type-1 diabetes, so every time he comes off the field he has to check his blood sugar levels.
The Ravens posted a video of Andrews talking to one of his teammates about the process he must go through.

These are the things that most football fans do not know or think about, which makes it that much cooler that the Ravens gave a behind-the-scenes look at what Andrews goes through.
Also, it must be inspiring for others battling Type-1 diabetes, as it has not prevented Andrews from making his dreams of playing in the NFL come true.
Kudos to the NFL for putting microphones on the sidelines and allowing fans to hear some in-game conversation.
Andrews is an easy player to root for, and hopefully, he will continue to succeed.
The AFC looks as tough as ever this year, especially in the AFC North, which is the only division in football where everyone has a record over .500.
The Ravens still have a lot of work to do this year, but they and Andrews are certainly trending in the right direction.
