The Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t the most popular team in the league by any means.
Not many analysts thought of them as legitimate Super Bowl contenders, and they don’t get nearly half of the media attention that other teams do, not even when they’re playing well.
However, Doug Pederson’s team has continued to put its head down and just do its job, regardless of the rival, the time of day, or even the location.
As Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network pointed out, they’re fresh off playing four games in the past 19 days, two of those in London, one in Jacksonville, and one in New Orleans.
Jaguars played 4 games in 19 days. 2 in London. One in Jacksonville. One in New Orleans. They went 4-0. Resilient team.

On top of that, they went 4-0 in that stretch.
Notably, their next chance to take the gridiron will also be on the road, as they’ll travel to Pittsburgh for a date with the Steelers.
All that traveling and playing so many games in such a short stretch could take a huge toll on their bodies, and that Week 9 bye cannot come soon enough.
The Jaguars are in sole possession of the top spot in the AFC South and look poised to win back-to-back divisional pennants.
They’re sitting on a 5-2 record and have some winnable matchups ahead of them for the remainder of the season.
Trevor Lawrence continues to improve and look like the guy we saw at Clemson, and they have some playmakers on defense that could put the best players on Earth in shambles.
Don’t look now, but this Jaguars team could make a lot of noise in the playoffs.
