When Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles during Week 1, a palpable energy was sucked out of the New York Jets fanbase.
Rodgers was supposed to be their hero, the quarterback that could, and would lead them to their first playoff berth in over 10 years.
After starting the season 1-3, it looked like the Jets were going to struggle all season, especially with Zach Wilson at the helm.
However, they have won their last three games, including their most recent victory over the New York Giants.
Zach Wilson has done enough to keep them in games, which, in the eyes of some analysts, is a sign of personal growth.
Rex Ryan recently spoke about Wilson’s progress on a segment of “Get Up,” saying “He’s maturing in front of our eyes.”
“He’s maturing right in front of our eyes. And at the biggest moment, he was at his best.”

Ryan was the head coach of the Jets for six seasons.
He has seen firsthand the struggles that this organization recently gone through, and he remains close to the team.
While many fans are not necessarily convinced that Wilson can keep this streak alive, Ryan expressed his confidence in him.
He added, “At the biggest moment, he was at his best,” referring to his performance in the Giants game.
Wilson finished this contest with 240 passing yards and a touchdown to Breece Hall, which ended up being the difference.
The Jets have taken down the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles, and Giants in three straight weeks.
Can they keep up their winning ways against the Los Angeles Chargers on their upcoming Monday Night Football matchup?
