The long 18-week NFL season is a grind.
You cannot expect a team to be at their best for the entire year.
Each team goes through a stretch of rough games.
That was the case with the San Francisco 49ers, who started the year 5-0 before losing three straight.
Going into their bye week, the 49ers were 5-3 and in need of a spark.
On Sunday, the 49ers traveled to the Jacksonville Jaguars and they played one of their best games of the season.
The 49ers won the game, 34-3, and dominated one of the top teams in the AFC.
San Francisco looked to be back to the team we saw the first five weeks of the season.
Richard Sherman even thinks the team “cured” all of their issues, via “Undisputed.”

Everything was clicking for San Francisco in that game.
Their defense was elite, and quarterback Brock Purdy seemingly got his groove back.
The Jaguars came into that game as the only team in the NFL to score 20+ points in every game.
San Francisco’s defense was able to hold them to three.
The addition of Chase Young on the defensive line is a big one.
He gives them an added pass-rusher opposite of Nick Bosa and someone the opposing offensive line must be aware of.
The bye week seemed to do wonders for the 49ers.
With a record of 6-3, they are tied atop the NFC West with the Seattle Seahawks.
Both teams will meet twice over the next month in games that will most likely decide the division champion.
