Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love put on a show in his NFL playoff debut in a huge Wild Card win over the Dallas Cowboys this past weekend.
Love and the offense put up 41 points in the 48-32 win (the defense also scored a touchdown) and proved to the NFL world he could lead the Packers in the postseason in the wake of Aaron Rodgers’ departure this past offseason.
Many pundits weren’t sold on Love heading into the 2023 season, and former NFL cornerback Richard Sherman quickly admitted on his podcast this week that he was wrong about Love and the Packers.
“I must give the Green Bay Packers a ton of credit and Jordan Love,” Sherman said. “I said before the season, ‘Nobody will fear you. Nobody will fear you going forward without Aaron Rodgers.’ And way to prove me wrong.”

Love was a pretty inexperienced starter this season after he took over for Rodgers and was playing with an incredibly young group of skill position players.
After an up-and-down start to the season, though, the Packers got hot and went on a few winning streaks before Green Bay secured the final spot in the NFC playoffs.
They weren’t expected to beat the No. 2-seeded Cowboys in Dallas, though, and they especially weren’t expected to score as effortlessly as they did against one of the top defenses in the NFL.
But Love put on clinic and diced up the Cowboys secondary early and often with three passing touchdowns and no turnovers.
Green Bay’s path won’t get easier, though, as Love and company head to face the San Francisco 49ers next week in the divisional round.
