Many NFL teams hope they can be competitive come playoff time, but some always fall short of that goal.
One team that shocked the NFL last year by making the playoffs was the Seattle Seahawks.
They traded Russell Wilson before last season and many thought they would be the worst team in the NFL.
Geno Smith stepped in as quarterback and played the best he has in his entire career.
Smith is having another solid season this year and the Seahawks find themselves at the top of the NFC West.
Former Seahawks star Richard Sherman even thinks they will be a threat again this season.
Sherman said on “Undisputed,” “Seattle is a team that’s going to be dangerous.”

The Seahawks made the playoffs last year and got bounced in the first round.
There are still many people out there who do not believe in Smith as a consistent quarterback.
Most of that is because Smith has a long resume of playing poorly before his time in Seattle.
But, if the Seahawks plan to do anything substantial this year, Smith will have to play well.
One game that Sherman and many others are looking forward to is Cowboys vs. Seahawks.
They are set to play the week after Thanksgiving and that game will have significant playoff implications.
Both teams should be in the playoff picture at that point and that will be a must-see game.
Sherman may sound like a homer for calling his former team “dangerous.”
But, you would be foolish to not respect what they have accomplished with Smith under center.
