One of the highlights of the offseason around the NFL was the roasting of legendary quarterback Tom Brady.
Fans got to witness the true personalities of all the great Patriots players and coaches come out.
NFL legend and future Hall of Fame tight end Rob Gronkowski, who had a large role during the roast, recently had this to say about who his “new favorite person” is since that event took place.
“I think Coach Belichick may be my new favorite person ever since the roast…If he just showed that personality at all while he was a head coach, I still think we would be playing for the New England Patriots and winning Super Bowls,” Gronkowski said on Games with Names with former teammate Julian Edelman.

Everyone who knows the NFL knows the competitiveness and greatness that Bill Belichick brought to the table every single day.
Of course, Gronkowski had a more relaxed attitude some would say.
Regardless of the personalities in the building, what this team was able to accomplish over two decades with Belichick was nothing short of legendary.
Gronkowski was able to hop on the train during the second half of the dynasty and help New England win more Super Bowls.
He also made five Pro Bowls and was eventually named to the NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team.
His ability to do everything right, including blocking and route-running, was valued in New England and without him in the picture, who knows how many Super Bowls the Patriots win?
Personalities aside, this team made it all work because they knew what it took to win at a high level.
