Praise for Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love continues to come out in waves after the team’s huge win over the Dallas Cowboys in the wild card round.
The team is playing at an incredibly high level and turned some detractors into admirers.
One such support is former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski, who told Kay Adams on FanDuel TV’s “Up & Adams” show that he has earned a “newfound love for the Packers,” while acknowledging the pun.
“They’re playing some serious ball,” Gronkowski said. “They’re all guys that you’ve never really heard of before. They’re all young bucks. They’re the youngest team in the NFL. And you’ve got to respect the way that they’re winning games right now.”

Love has strung together some impressive games over the past month, culminating in the dismantling of the Dallas defense this past weekend.
And, as Gronkowski mentioned, he’s done it all with a bunch of first-and second-year pass-catchers.
The Packers veteran running back, Aaron Jones, has helped immensely on the ground as well after finally getting back to full strength following an injury-plagued 2023 season.
Love and the Packers get a tough matchup in the divisional round, though, against the No. 1-seeded San Francisco 49ers.
While Green Bay broke down Dallas’ defense, San Francisco poses a much bigger threat as the 49ers have defensive playmakers at all levels of the field.
Love proved he can hang with the best, and now he’ll get his toughest test as a Packers quarterback.
