It’s been more than 25 years since the Dallas Cowboys last made it to the Super Bowl.
Since then, their value as a franchise has skyrocketed, and they continue to be one of the most popular — if not the most popular — team in the league.
That’s perhaps why team owner Jerry Jones doesn’t want to make any significant changes to his approach in running the team.
Recently, there has been a debate about whether they should give Dak Prescott $60 million a year in his next contract.
With that in mind, former NFL QB Robert Griffin III argued that as much as Prescott has underperformed at times, he’s not the issue in Arlington.
Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, he pointed the finger at Jones for the culture he’s created within the organization.
“Dak Prescott isn’t necessarily the issue. The issue is Jerry Jones and the culture that he has created there for the Dallas Cowboys,” Griffin said.

He believes the Cowboys are never going to get over the hump if they don’t hire a coach that’s willing to challenge Jerry Jones and make him uncomfortable.
He adds that people tune in to watch the Cowboys to make fun of them because they know they’re always going to lose when it counts, so even though ratings are always good, it’s not because people actually believe in them.
Jones keeps making weekly radio show appearances and stealing all the headlines.
He calls all the shots for a team that hasn’t found any sort of success in over two decades.
Thus he should get all of the blame, or at least most of it.
Unfortunately for the fans, that might not change any time soon.
